Year 3 teamed up with Year 5 to visited our local parks and litter pick. We met Amy from Stevenage Council at the parks and she gave us a talk on what happens to the litter that is collected. We found out that Stevenage Borough Council try to recycle as much waste as possible. Amy put us in to teams and provided us with appropriate litter picking equipment. We had great fun and collected lots of rubbish.
