Yesterday we had a fantastic P.E. lesson by Stevenage FC. This week we were focusing on agility. We started by playing a game about moving around the area in different ways before having lots of different obstacles to navigate around. They gave us lots of different challenges and had some great games for us to play. We are really looking forward to our session next week! 

Everybody that came to Year One had an amazing day today! We all worked as a team to produce a beautiful collage of Queen Elizabeth. 

We had lots of fun today and completed many exciting activities such as; making soliders and making crowns.

Today Chestnut Class had a wonderful time learning how to maypole dance in preparation for our Jubilee celebrations. We learnt lots of different moves, including how to turn under the ribbon with our partner, and then put all these moves together for our dance. We had lots of fun and really enjoyed ourselves. 

On Friday afternoon, Cedar class had a wonderful time learning how to dance around a maypole. 

We tried really hard not to get into knots; it was very tricky! 

We had a great time and can't wait to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee on the 27th May
