Reaching high for the best for your child

About our Website

Fairlands Logo

The main aim of our website is to create a really user-friendly, logical information source with an emphasis on current news and events, creating a magazine-style browsing experience. Hopefully, once parents and children visit the site, they will find that they come back regularly to see 'what's new' and stay up to date with what's going on in the school.

The website can also provide RSS feeds straight to your own email, so you get an alert every time the main news story changes - just go to www.blogtrottr.com to set this up really simply.

The menu bar along the top should guide you to where you want to go, if not - use the SEARCH facility on the top right of the page.

Take a look around - you should discover:

- regular news articles in our homepage; what's happening, as it happens!

- blogs: find out what's going on in your child's year group; school council etc.!

- all the latest diary dates & events: updated every hour!

- emergency announcements & reminders

- contacts section so you can get in touch easily and conveniently

- galleries of photos of significant events

- access to all our usual newsletters: Head's, Governors' & Fairlands Faces, plus copies of all Letters Sent Home: worth checking regularly to see if your child is bringing everything home!

- access to all the school's policy documents

- a history of Fairlands and Memories pages: feel free to contribute!

- The Learning Zone: anything to do with the curriculum, including clubs & activities on offer

- sections for all members of our extended school community: get involved!

Have fun exploring... If you have any feedback or ideas to make the site better, please feel free to drop us an email.
