Reaching high for the best for your child

Community access to facilities

We are very fortunate to have a great facilities at Fairlands: a Community Room, a Learning Room, two large halls, a stage and extensive grounds. These are community resources and we are continually trying to find ways to make sure they are used to their full potential by the wider community.

Grounds & Sports Facilities

Fairlands is fortunate to have extremely large open spaces surrounding the school, with a football pitch, a multi-use games area (MUGA), and four hard surfaced areas.

We also have a stage and the capacity to host a range of training events, accommodating anything up to 150 delegates.

In addition, we are easily accessible from the A1(M) and have two large car parks, so getting here is very easy!

If you are interested in hiring any of our facilties, please contact the school office.

Adult Learning

Learning doesn't stop with the children at Fairlands!

We are committed to providing opportunities for adults in the community to come and take part in learning opportunities in the school.

Currently, we offer an adult learning session on Monday mornings for our parents with English as an additional language. The morning, which is led by Mrs Trafford, is spent learning the language together and sharing experiences and fun!

If you have any suggestions for additional adult learning opportunities, please contact the school office and let us know!

Computer Access

At Fairlands, we are conscious that not all families have access to a computer or the fast broadband connection that is required for many sites these days.

With this in mind, we offer our computer suite for parents and families to use for a variety of activities.

In particular, we invite parents to come in and use the computers to make online applications for places at Nursery, Reception and Secondary schools.

If you ever need access to a computer, please contact the school office and we will be pleased to arrange a time for you to come in.
