Our SEAL theme this half term is 'Going for Goals'.

Each week we break this down into a Weekly SEAL Focus, which is explored in the MOnday assembly and SEAL Buddy sessions.

- Taking responsibility

- Building feelings of confidence and self-efficacy

- Believing that what we do makes a difference

- Resilience- bouncing back after difficulties, mistakes or failure

- Persistence

Goal directed behaviour is only valuable if we are able to make wise and balanced choices about our goals. This theme provides opportunities for children to consider this and practice problem solving strategies.
