Wow... the Early Years Team have worked so hard today to prepare for this half term's topics, following some training from Jessica Archibald from the Department of Education's 'Covid Recovery Project'. Reception have selected 'Dinosaurs', I'm am sure they are going to be excited to explore the artifacts and dinosaur dig station on Monday. In Nursery, the children have chosen 'Transport'. They will be introducing the core texts 'The Train Ride' and one of my favourite Nursery books 'Not a Box', where the children will be inspired to transform a box into a vehicle. The children will also find props for the vehicle outdoors and lots of digger station in the classroom.
We can't wait to welcome you back to school on Monday!
