Letters from the Lighthouse Book Review

By Miss Newman , in Year 5 - Tuesday, 17 December 2024

Today Pine class finished reading Letters from the Lighthouse by Emma Carroll and the children had a competition to write the best review. This was our winning review...

Dear passionate readers,

You won't believe the book that I have just finished reading because it's incredible, it's called Letters from the Lighthouse and I highly recommend it for everyone who is reading this now and loves reading in general. It is an insane book with many ups and downs and is about WWII and how kids were evacuated in the War. Letters from the Lighthouse was written by Emma Carroll, let me explain ... so it was many pages but was probably the most interesting book I have read because it was full of adventure I loved it and I bet you would too. It is very emotional as well but even with the ups and downs they figure things out in the end. I don't want to spoil it too much for you so I am going to leave it there, I would love to read more of Emma Carroll's books though. Hope you enjoy!
