A big thank you to all of the families and pupils who returned their 'Kindness' home learning.
It was so interesting and heart warming to read all of the thoughtful and considerate responses!
There were so many fabulous entries that need to be seen by others so they will soon be on display on the upper site.
Well done to our winners of the Kindness poem/chant competition....
Aylin and Adrianna!
We will be hearing your songs in school this week and they will remind us how we should be treating others!
Please open the link to read their brilliant pieces and some of the thoughts that others had about what Kindness means to them.

Don't forget that we have transition suppprt sessions happening in school this Thursday (15th June) at 9am-10am and then repeated 6pm-7pm. This will be a great opportunity to talk about transition to secondary school, looking around secondary school open events in September and any secondary related questions. Our Mental Health Support practitioner will also be attending. This is a great opportunity for all parents in Years 4, 5 and 6.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Please find attached details of the summer term 2023 programme of events being run by ANGELS Autism and ADHD Support.
There are some really great on-line workshops coming up in July, August and September, which parents/carers might find useful to help support your child/children's wellbeing.
Please see the attached flier for more information on the various courses and how to book a place.

We have also included links to all of our parent guides for the various plans we use to support individual children at Fairlands and links to how we support SEND children in the classroom in every subject we teach.
If you have any questions about any of this, please see your child’s class teacher who will happily help or pass on a message for the SENDCo (Mrs Jeffries) to contact you. We hope you will find this information useful!
Just a reminder that this Friday (26th May) we have our SEND coffee session from 9am until 10am in the Upper hall on the Upper site. We have an exciting guest sharing information about supporting ASD children and young people. It is definitely not one to miss! Look forward to seeing you there!
