In Maths this week, Year 2 have been learning about halving and doubling with numbers.  We know that you cannot half a odd number.  Today we were halving and doubling money. We would pick a value such as 50p and then with a partner, decide whether to double or half it. We then would record this on our whiteboards and show the new value using the coins.
