Year 3 have been learning how to persuade people to make a change.
We thought about topics that were important to us- these included stopping the use of single use plastic and composting fruit scraps.
We have learnt some facts related to these topics and how important it is to use body language, facial expressions and rethorical questions when trying to persuade someone.
Some of us visited Mr Staples and read our speeches to him.
Mrs Johnson beamed with pride as we spoke clearly and confidently as we tried to persuade him to get our school more compost bins.
Will he help us?
