This week saw Pine class perform their assembly both for their peers and parents.  Hours of preparation, planning and practice had gone into the production and they did themselves proud.  This concluded the year 5 assemblies as Spruce and Poplar had already performed theirs.

In English, we have been creating some beautiful writing about a battle between a Dragon and King Arthur.  The children have shown the depths of their incredible imaginations with some fantastic, and often bizarre, results.

We have been comparing the insulating properties of tin foil, bubble wrap and socks, in science and we have been pushing our brains to the max in maths looking at place value and decimals.  Meanwhile in French we have been learning to talk about our pets.
