It the end of the first half term in Year 5 already !!! We just wanted to say thank you to all the children and parents/carers for a super start to Year 5 so far. It was absolutely lovely meeting you at parent consultations and we hope you found it useful in knowing your child's strengths and things to work on are.  Please do not hestitate to talk to the class teachers if you have further questions!

We have worked so hard this half term on skills such as our Place value in maths, our creative writing in English and our knowledge of Geography both local and abroad. The teachers are really looking forward to our units of work next half term, including Forces in Science and Conflict in History! 

Please continue to help support our children (although they should be increasing independent!) with ensuring they bring in their PE kits to school, do regular reading (SO IMPORTANT!!) and complete homework tasks such as spelling and Maths fluency.
