Diwali

Today Chestnut class had a special visitor in to tell us all about the festival of Diwali. We learnt about why people celebrate Diwali and what they do to decorate their homes. We listened to a lovely story about the day of the festival and what activities people do to celebrate. Our favourite part of the afternoon was dancing! It was great fun and we really enjoyed it!
