In our science lessons we have been investigating different layers of soil. We found out that some soils absorb more water that others and this makes them better for growing different plants. When we looked through the soil samples we found living creatures including worms, centipedes and a beetle. We found stones, roots, seedlings and even a piece of old bathroom tile!
