In our guided reading lessons we have been reading the book Pebble in My Pocket by Meredith Hooper & Chris Coady. We are tracking the story of a pebble from its origin in a fiery volcano 480 million years ago to its place in a modern landscape today. To help the children understand its journey they have personalised their own pebbles.
