A new competition was announced this week in the the school! We are looking for the best designs for a new poster for our Five School Rules. Entrants need to choose one rule and create a design on A4 or A5, with the rule written out in funky writing and a picture showing how you could demonstrate the rule.
Our Five School Rules are:
We always try our best.
We treat each other with respect.
We listen when others are speaking.
We care for all resources.
We walk calmly and quietly.
The best design for each rule will be chosen after half term and the five winners will receive an amazing prize - a special VIP Credit Card which will entitle them to be treated like VIPs for a whole day! One of the treats will be a special gourmet dinner in the the Headteacher's office, and there will be lots of other exciting things happening for our VIPs!
Get designing!
We have had a number of parents and carers requesting that the school unform policy be adapted slightly to include smart, black boots as acceptable footwear. We are wondering what your views are? Please take the time to click on our survey and the governing body will analyse the results and make a final decision. If you have any particular comments to make on this issue, please drop me a line at head@fairlands.herts.sch.uk and I will make sure your views are represented in our discussions!
