Welcome to the new school year! I hope you have all had a successful week back and getting back into a routine was not too tricky. I'm sure most of your children were exhausted by the end of Friday - us adults at school most certainly were!

I have taken on a new role of Assistant Head - SENDCo this year and am really looking forward to working with many of you to support your children as they journey through our fantastic school. Attached is a screenshot of a slide some of you may remember from the 'New To' presentations at the end of last year. It contains brief information about SEND at Fairlands. This year, we will be blogging on a wide variety of SEND topics and using it to signpost you to support groups and websites.
