This week, we have been 'thinking like a scientist' and preparing an experiment to discover the effect friction has on an object. 

We decided that it needed to be a fair test, so we will only change the surface and keep everything else the same. 

Before we carry out our experiment we each made a prediction: 

'I predict that the plastic surface will let the car travel further because it is smooth.'

'I predict that the wood surface will let the car travel further because it is flat.'
