We began this morning by making and sampling some scrambled eggs as part of a science debate. Yesterday, we were investigating reversible and irreversible (one of our spellings this week!) changes and it was a tricky concept for some of us to understand so this morning we used eggs to help us. We learnt that changes with eggs are irreversible.
This afternoon, we were exploring festivals in Judaism and learnt that this week was Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year). Part of the tradition is to eat apples drizzled with honey to bring a sweet new year ahead and pomegranates that symbolise the commandments Judaism followers must live by. We joined in the celebration by tasting these fruits then reflecting on our proud moments and moments we feel we should say sorry for.
